Our Plano based client is looking for a Sales and Use Tax Accountant:

Purpose – Job Summary:
This position will report to the Accounting and Revenue Manager and will be primarily responsible for managing the Sales & Use Tax filings, order entry/invoicing and collections for the US operations. Coordinate with third party provider for the preparation, review, analysis and filing of sales and use taxes for three US Operating Entities. Facilitate the completion of annual federal and state tax returns through coordination with external tax preparers.

Responsibilities:
Assist with external audits and quarterly reviews; prepare audit schedules as necessary.
Prepare monthly order accruals for activity after close cutoff before month end.
Prepare other federal and state filings as necessary.
Assist with special projects as necessary

Requirements:
Bachelors in Accounting
cpa
3 to 5 years in Accounting
Strong Knowledge of Sales and Use Tax
Experience with State Sales Tax Audits
Effective communication skills, flexible and adaptable to unexpected deadlines
