Our Plano based client is looking for a Test Engineer:
Job Description:
This position is primarily focused on definition, design, and development of system test software and validation of the company’s products. This effort includes development and implementation of automated test suites. Wherever possible, the tests developed will also apply to legacy products. Well-designed test suites will streamline the checkout of new designs and ensure that product requirements are satisfied. They may also be used during the development phase to guide developers’ activities. Additionally, the results of this effort can be leveraged within the manufacturing process, as part of the unit verification process.
This individual will work with the entire product development team to enhance our design methodology, and will be engaged from initial project concept through sustaining.
Requirements
** Candidate must have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering. An advanced degree is a plus.
** Candidate should also have at least 5 years of experience in system test development in a product development environment. Knowledge of tools and technologies for test automation in both Windows and Linux environments is desirable.
