Job Title: Purchasing Agent

Role will include but not limited to: Purchase distributed products and raw or semi-finished materials for manufacturing Purchase machinery, equipment, tools, parts, supplies, or services necessary for the facility. Responsible for the day-to-day communication with suppliers/manufacturers to monitor supply Monitor shipments to ensure that goods come in on time, and follow up on undelivered goods Have contact with our sales, production and engineering departments to keep them informed regarding status of orders Return unacceptable products to vendors Inventory management Other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager Must Have: Personal computer skills, mainframe operations as relates to procurement and knowledge of purchasing/accounting processes required. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to follow-up and follow-through on projects Must be a team player with a highly structured method of working Good math/problem solving skills Interpersonal skills to confidently assist people on the phone as well as in person Additional Special Skills: Experience in the environmental industry is a plus Experience with Lean manufacturing is a big plus

Location: Carrollton

Salary: $55K-$75K DOE

Hours: Full Time
