Candidate must have the ability to manage and negotiate supplier relationships while achieving purchasing savings through pricing and inventory control. Strong decision making ability and leadership required. This person must have high ethical standards, and enforce compliance with company and departmental policies. A minimum of three to five years purchasing experience and manufacturing background is required. Must have computer skills including but not limited to: Microsoft Excel, MS Word, and MRP (M3) type software systems. Other software or computer systems exposure is helpful. Experience in buying steel, hardware, paint and other items is a plus for this position.
