Abyssinian - Maddie - Small - Young - Female - Cat
11/18/2010- Maddie was abandoned in a parking lot. She does not appreciate dogs barking. They give her painful headaches. Once she knows dogs are not a threat to her, she shows her gratitude by purring and allowing you to pet her head. Then just when you think that she is your best friend, Maddie will slap you with a swooping motion of her paw. And yes, she does have claws. And YES, she knows how to use them. Maddie came with a note attached to her. She was abandoned by her owners because they did not want to give up their new puppy. They felt it was too much work to keep two animals in their home. Maddie has lived in a home and we feel that she deserves a chance at living with true feline friends. We have moved her into the cat room where she has a larger cage and more light in hopes that Maddie will begin to adjust to new surroundings. Caution will be needed when introducing yourself to her; but, we feel she is worth the effort. She is a beautiful Abyssinian mix, who looks like a little Cougar in the face. Pet ID# 61757
