Please contact us for more information on this cat. Scottie had a home life at one time, but was found as a stray lingering around someone's house in January. Scottie is a talker and loves drinking the water from the sink faucet. If it is not on, he talks and rubs his head until you turn it on. He is a big lover. He loves to wrap his paws around your neck and give hugs while purring as loud as he can. Loves attention and is pretty outgoing. When Scotties was found, he had horrible ear infections and ear mites that have left his ears terrribly scarred. The thickened ear lobes cause his ears to droop, making him look like a Scottish Fold. He has a pudgy, rounder face that goes along with his unique ears. He will need someone willing to check/clean his ears occasionally and from time to time give him ear drops. He is, also, diabetic. He requires blood glucose testing daily and insulin injections. His food intake is monitored as well. These challenges may seem overwhelming and scary for some, but for Scottie, it is his way of life. He jumps on the counter to get tested and his shot and then prances to his cage for his meals. Even through all of the pokes and sticks, he remains a lover and shows his affection unconditionally. You won't find a more thankful boy. Now he needs a furever home that can accept all the love he wants to give. You can meet this kitty at the ARF Adoption Center at the Double Oak Veterinary Medical Center on Rt 407/Justin Road in Double Oak.
