Name: Jewel (Female :: 6 (born in 2006) :: LA) OK with Cats: Yes OK with Dogs: Yes Foster Email: [email removed] Description: My name is Jewel & as my foster mom says I am a Jewel. I was picked up as a stray in Scott, LA & bought to Lafayette Animal Control where I became a favorite by the shelter workers. I was loved so much someone there paid for the pull fee and donated to my boarding until a foster home opened. I was HW positive and had to go thru HW treatment but I am all good now. I am up to date on shots, spayed, micro chipped, HW negative and on preventive. My favorite friend in my foster home is a 20 lb terrier mix I just love to run around and play with him. As a matter of fact he is up for adoption too. My foster mom says I need to be honest with good comes bad so now for the bad. I have severe hip dysplasia and bad knees so mom has me on a good food & I take glucosamine & chondroitin daily. I am also on Proin daily to help with my urinary inconstancy. If you have room in your heart to love and care for me the rest on my life please fill out an adoption application or if you have any questions please contact my foster mom!
