Doberman Pinscher - Maxine - Large - Adult - Female - Dog
Maxine is a sweet, gentle, loving PUREBRED Doberman! She is Blue/Tan, and is around 6 years old (this is a guess, we do not know exactly how old Maxine is). Maxine was a stray that was never claimed, she came into the Animal Control facility in San Antonio where a group of Doberman lovers saw her and came to her aid. Maxine was in terrible condition, she had been bred over and over again until she was skin and bones and her coat was in terrible condition. Maxine is healthy now, but she does have a thyroid condition which requires daily medication. This medication is VERY affordable. Maxine is house and crate trained, she is very good with other dogs and DOG SAVVY cats. She is NOT GOOD with birds, she is too interested in them and will try to get to them. She LOVES CHILDREN!!! Maxine is dog door trained, she LOVES to go for walks and is a perfect lady on the leash. She also loves car rides. Maxine is happy, playful (she loves to play fetch and play with stuffed toys) and outgoing. We have NEVER seen any aggression towards people. Maxine deserves a home where she will be loved, pampered and spoiled. If you would like to meet Maxine, please fill out our online adoption application! Her adoption fee is $200 and includes ALL medical care/records (spaying, vaccinations, blood work, heartworm treatment, de-worming, microchip, new leash/collar, PLUS $150 worth of professional dog training!)
