Anatolian Shepherd - Emma - Large - Adult - Female - Dog
Emma is a beautiful 2-year old female caramel and white Anatolian Shepherd mix with tantalizing eyes. Rescued from the Garland City shelter, Emma tested positive for heartworms and was treated mid-September. She’s recovered from the heartworm treatment and is now ready for her forever home. Emma is very playful and loves her humans; she truly loves to give hugs, too! She would do best with a calm male companion dog or as an only dog; she would not be comfortable in a high energy environment. Although crate-trained, Emma is allowed to go outside every 3-4 hours. She would also do best with older children, 12 years or older. Emma walks very well on leash and enjoys the security of her humans. Is your family a good match for sweet Emma?

We do not adopt out on a first come, first served basis. We review all applications received and select the best home for the dog based on what we know of its personality, habits, and behaviors.
Anyone interested in our dogs will be required to fill out an adoption application which includes a home visit by one of our volunteers. For this reason we do not adopt to anyone living out of the DFW area. All our dogs will be spayed or neutered, microchipped, current on vaccinations and heartworm treated (if required).
