We do not have a facility to house the dogs in our program. They are all kept in foster homes until they are adopted. 2 year old Chi-Weenie mix, 8lbs.
Doodle was one of 13 Chi mix dogs - adults and puppies - surrendered to CCHS foster care from an owner who could no longer care for them. This little guy is 2 years old and cute as they come. He will jump on to your lap and give sweet doggie kisses. He is a black and tan Chiweenie mix. He is friendly and comes right up to you for a pet and a howdy do. Good with other dogs and kids; a snuggler and lap sitter. He is crate and potty trained. He trained himself on the doggie door in no time but if you do not have a doggie door, that is OK too. Walks well on a a lead and is always up for a car ride or a walk. Like any chihuahua, he makes a good alarm dog when someone comes to the house but is quiet most of the time. He gets along great with his foster family and loves to play with them all. He will make a good pet and companion for anyone who wants a larger size Chihuahua. He is not afraid of larger dogs, typical Chihuahua trait. Doodle needs a secure back yard and a playmate, preferably a female, large or small. Adoption fee for CCHS pets includes neuter, round of annual shots including rabies, HW test, 1 month HW preventative and implanted ID chip. All CCHS pets live in homes with a family, not in a shelter so they can be evaluated.
