We do not have a facility to house the dogs in our program. They are all kept in foster homes until they are adopted. Sweet Young puppy looking for a new start
Sweet little Max was found wandering stray near a busy highway. Thankfully for him, he was picked up by a very concerned citizen who feared for his safety. Once he was brought home, it was discovered he has demodectic mange and was malnourished. His foster mommy quickly contacted CCHS and we have been treating him since that day. He has made improvements and his fur will start to grow back soon! He is a beautiful puppy who just needs a new start on life. He is crate trained and house trained. Max is approximately 9 months old as of 2/1/2013. His adoption fee includes his neuter surgery, microchipping, rabies vaccination, and 3 sets of booster shoots. He is in a house with other dogs and humans of all ages and sizes - he does great with everyone!! Please consider giving Max his new life! Apply online at
