Plott Hound - Clara - Medium - Young - Female - Dog
I am housetrained, crate trained, up to date with shots, and good with kids, other dogs, and with cats. Clara's has had a rough start in life, but she is on her way to being healthy and happy. Her actual birth place is unknown and she ended up at a shelter, that is where we rescued her from. Clara is a very smart puppy and is growing like a weed and learning more and more. Her training currently includes sit, come, and to walk on a leash. When Clara was rescued she had several medical issues that had to be taken care of. In the course of working through these medical issues it was discovered that she has hip dysplasia in her right hip. She will need surgery to fix or remove the leg before she is a year old. Clara likes to take her time and watch what is going on around her before she makes the decision to act or not. She will need a special family that understands her limitations and will support her as she gets over the next speed bumps in her future.
