Job Description: We are looking for a full time assembly technician to join our manufacturing team to assemble precision motion systems. We will train the right individual on our products and assembly processes. Any experience with the components listed below should be emphasized on a resume and/or cover letter. We are looking for detailed oriented individual that enjoys hands on work and will ensure every product will meet our quality standards. Duties will include: - Primary: Mechanical and system assembly of precision motion systems (of both custom and volume systems). Assembly will include a variety of tasks from mechanical/hardware assembly, assembly of electronics chassis, connection and termination of cables/electronics, test setup. - Secondary: Lab and production management (Organizational projects as we expand our manufacturing processes, help with management of project kits and stock inventory) Requirements: - Candidate should have 4+ years of related hands on experience in assembling products in industry. - A sound understanding of engineering principles and judgment. We don't always try to do things the fastest or cheapest way but the best way for the end result we are trying to achieve. This requires technical judgment skills that will have to be exhibited in our assembly tasks and processes. - Overall we are looking for someone with good mechanical aptitude, desire and willingness to do what it takes to help increase production capacities, willingness to learn, reliable, detail oriented, attention to quality.
