This position will provide customer insight to the organization through analysis, research, modeling and data mining.
Provide analytical support to the organization and its marketing groups in order to improve marketing efforts and decision making
Assist in data modeling and analysis to determine key customer insights, drive business strategies, and maximize ROI
Assist in advanced quantitative methods to perform market basket analysis, segment customers, and evaluate promotions for effectiveness and efficiency
Assist in development, maintenance and enhancement of statistical models to generate incremental sales
Use statistical tools and techniques to extract and analyze trends from the customer database warehouse
Manage marketing research projects
Prepare and deliver presentations
1-3 years experience in a business analytics role
Knowledge of SAS required
Knowledge of R is a plus
Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline (Statistics, Applied Mathematics, etc.) or sufficient on the job use of related skills. Master’s degree is a plus.
Strong quantitative skills
Experience in applying advanced multivariate techniques including logistic regression, regression, factor analysis, discriminant analysis, cluster analysis and ANOVA
Experience using SQL, Business Objects, Oracle, and other query tools on large databases
Understanding of relational databases
Strong presentation and communication skills
Retail Experience is a plus
