My mother passed away in April 2011 and I am having to clean out her house and sell EVERYTHING to pay bills!!! I found this beautiful set in back bedroom jewelry chest. Does not look like it was ever worn much!!
It is stamped on the back with Scitarelli and is a matching set of the Pendant/brooche and Screw Back Earrings!! I am unsure of the type of Gold tone metal as there are no precious metals markings on the back other than the company lettering. These are Screw Back earrings and measure approx 1/2" in diameter. The Brooche has bail at the top to slip necklace through so it can be worn alone as Pin OR as necklace pendant!!! The filigree leaves are stunning and the rhinestones are clear and bright!!! There are both Red and Clear stones and none are missing!! I've looked thru eBay several times and have seen NOTHING like it!!!!
I am unsure of the exact age or background and possible that this is European as my father was stationed 6 years in Germany!! A beautiful set and totally unique! I am not a vintage jewelry expert and have listed details to the best of my ability. If you have any questions please call and I will try to help.
