Our Irving, TX client is seeking a medical billing specialist with Practice Management/Billing Software Advanced MD experience.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Conduct insurance verification
Enter charges
Balance batches
Post payments
Follow up with both insurance companies and patients.
Maintain all patient information
Collect on delinquent accounts
Track billing and monitor collections
Initiate claims for unpaid bills
Coordinate payroll deductions for payment
Maintain the compliance of company with clients, state and federal regulations.
Educational Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent; 1-3 years experience as a medical biller; comfortable with use of computer software and equipment; proficient in medical coding; excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills, and highly self-motivated; excellent organizational skills; familiarity with various medical billing software a plus!
